if/when i meet a couple for the first time i'm not sure what is the best way to greet the lady , shaking hands is a bit too formal and kiss on the cheek seems a bit presumptous ?

I find bending her over the sofa and shagging her as hard as possible from behind whilst shaking the guys hand and offering him a beer usually gets over any initial hesitancy....

I think a kiss on the cheek is normal for a lady. But I may be wrong.

it just feels wrong to kiss another mans wife, even just on the cheek, when i've not know her for any lenth of time and it's the first time i've met her .

after shaking the guys hand i'm kinda lost on how to greet tha lady . think i'll just take a box of chocolates and hand them to her rather than having to decide to kiss or not

Kiss on the cheek is definitely the way to go. I wouldn't say presumptious, but just a little cheeky - and women like cheeky

You could always take the classical approach and kiss the back of her hand

Kettering

Mrs Otra tends to prefer the fuller and more passionate kiss if we are hosting.

A kiss on the cheek for me is always good , and a firm hand shake for my guy
