Dora, Diago, I’m a semi pro photographer with a mobile studio kit. The facepic on my profile is a self portrait.

I’m happy to provide examples of other work.

Without trying to sound too conceited… I get plenty of what I’m looking for so am not desperate for playtimes. I won’t be looking to ‘join in’.

Drop me a message to discuss further.

Frank

I'm not a professional in as much as I don't make a living from photography. But my approach to photoshoots is the same as what you would expect from a pro photog. I have a fully portable studio including lighting, backdrops, and props. I never play on photoshoots and I never share online unless the model allows me to. Not all amateur/semi-pro photographers are creeps with a camera. I agree a lot are tho.

Thanks for your input.

What you say about sharing online is an interesting point that we have now come across with some photographers.

The rights to the images.

Control of the images has now given us concerns to the extent that we’ve decided to hold off on the plan.

Copyright laws say the person who takes the photo owns the copyright. But any decent photographer will have a contract or model release that allows you to state where the photos can or cannot be shared.

Also make sure they have public liability insurance, if you're having a shoot done in your home abs they break something expensive of if in a studio and you trip over something you want to be and to claim. A photographer that has these sort of things in place won't be doing it for free but at least you'll have peace of mind xx

I’d definitely second the points about rights to the images, and especially the digital files, and liability insurance.

Might seem peculiar but the combination of purpleport.com, a site loads of photographers and models use, and Instagram (to see examples of work) is a good place to explore local photographers. The search function on purpleport is good - you can select ‘adult’ photographers for example.

I hope this helps

Cheers.

We probably got around 50 private message with offers.

Some obviously pretty creepy.

A couple of possibles including one actual (and published) real porn photographer who was too far away.

Dora wants someone that she’d be happy with as an audience and possible contributor.

We’ve gone in another direction now. X

I like photographing women I’m close to and taking control / directing , creating something very personal to us both. It wouldn’t work with a couple

I was going to mention that too. If you use a professional photographer or company they almost certainly won’t agree , but for a non professional I think you should insist , always. That’s another reason I won’t , I do it more for the art I create, rather than getting to see naked people ! if I’m

Not keeping my work it’s not really of interest

Yes, I agree, the creation of art doesn't end when you stop pressing the button. Every photographer has their own editing style and won't give out digitals straight out of camera.

If you do find someone that will use your memory card then please bear in mind, most DSLR and mirrorless cameras have 2 card slots so make sure there is only one card in the camera.

I actually WANT to photograph more people with clothes on lol. I want images for my portfolio of classy portraits. I've spent a lot of money on training and workshops learning portraiture, including a 4 day workshop in Italy. But everyone I photograph wants to take their clothes off lol

I don't normally mix Fab with work, but I'm a professional photographer with a studio in East London, but also I also do shoots on location. It wasn't until Covid hit that I went from doing corporate shoots and events to shooting content for a couple of adult film companies and that lead to portraiture photography. So it's been a funny couple of years.

I can share with you my recent portfolio, DBS check and even some testimonies from people I've photographed in the past. DM if you'd like to know more.

If having a third party photograph you, or photograph something for you, it’s important to understand copyright and licensing. Both apply, regardless if the photographer is paid or otherwise.

By default, and unless reassigned through contractual agreement, copyright remains with the photographer. For the purpose of clarity, the photographer is deemed to be the person who activated the shutter.

Once the photographer has given you some photographs, licensing determines what you can (or can’t) do with it. For example, let’s say you’ve been given a 12x8 print. You own the physical material the image is reproduced on, but not the image. Again, unless determined by contract / licensing agreement, you can’t copy that, hang multiple copies in different rooms of your home, copy it, manipulate it, post it online, etc.

What can the photographer do with the image? Again, this is subject to contractual terms. However, many uses would require the subject or property owner to sign a release. So, if presented with a contract, read it and understand it.

The vast majority of professional photographers would behave properly in all aspects of their conduct, but never assume.
