May I ask how have the older guys on here have found it.

I know a lot of people are saying they are having trouble getting started. For us over 50s I think we have the age barrier too.

Have zero expectations and then you won't be disappointed.

Don't let fab run your life which it can do, just have it as a small part of your life.

Read the guidelines with the most important being "no reply means no thank you" when you message someone.

Your age will rule you out on some occasions but that's no different to normal life.

Good luck.

Ps if it starts to get you down just take a break.

I rejoined Fabs at 49 with the attitude no expectations no disappointments.I tend to attend socials in the London area and I am a member of a club in London and I go to a London spa as well.Looking at your location I would advise you to look at the club reviews on Fabs for the North West see if there is anything suitable I would advise you to look at any socials in your area or areas you are able to travel to I believe there is a Manchester Lounge Social which is quite well attended.Having had a quick look at your profile been a single guy that can accommodate should be a big help.Best of luck with everything.

Being in my 50's has not been an issue for me. I joined at 51 and never looked back. Just be yourself and go along to socials and clubs if possible.

Thb, Joined at 1 week away from 50 and I have been very surprised. forget age its a number.

Concentrate On chat / banter and looking good. i.e not dragged through a bush like our 2nd attempt at finding a couple.

Yes we had some really rude rejections in the first few weeks, we nearly left.

But TBH soon as you get going there be no turning back.

Remember its not just about the sex. Enjoy and listen to people and have fun as you go
