After being drove mad by the flocks of time wasters this site offers I left. The few genuine peeps I meet have enticed me back. I now what I want. Any advice greatful on helping me find it and more.

My advice would be to not keep going on about timewasters, I find using a positive spin will get you noticed more.

You have just suggested a meet with me, but we are better than 200 miles apart. I certainly would not want to make the trip as I can only do meets in the evening (say from 8pm to 3am), so does that make me a time waster?

Which won't make your time on here enjoyable if you let it get to you.

Use your gut instinct and them out early on, report them if needed / block and then forget them.
