Good afternoon all, I hope that everyone is well, just a quick post, I am looking for a little bit of advice. At the minute I am not getting any luck off this site can you all please check my profile out and see if I need to add anything. I have tried the general conversation messages and still got nowhere

Your profile write up, while adequate, doesn't really say much about you (my opinion, but then, I like a more in depth write up that shows a bit of your personality).

Many people say they like to see body shots--clothed, preferably, or with shirt undone.

I'd suggest checking out the profiles of guys on here who meet up more often. (Might want to do that in ninja mode so they don't all think you're interested?) Most who meet regularly have a well done profile.

What kind of messages to you send out?

If just the general hey, up to anything fun lately type, you might want to try a different approach?

I like short, funny messages, preferably with something to go on to return with. (I also read profiles, so try to come back with some interesting/funny point from there, as well).

hey, nice profile pix, and with face and all. Your profile feels good to me (my pix are poor in comparison to yours!), but I think like most single M, it is hard to get started purely on the website. I only got started after meeting a few nice couples at clubs, even when it was just social meets. Once I got a couple of verifs from club meets, people took my profile more seriously and messages lead to meet ups. At the beginning, I felt my messages, even when I get a reply, was not getting me the meets.

You'd be surprised at how much difference setting your age range makes as it shows you've put some basic effort in. Other than that though I'd probably reply if you messaged me

Actually I notice quite the opposite, I do browse accounts of men who have met with women I am interested in and most of the time their profiles don't say much, and if there are pictures they're often of the kind that people claim to dislike ie mostly dickpics. So logically, either people are more into dick pics than they'll publically admit, or they've got extremely good message game. And if it's the latter it's very hard to learn from others techniques, as obviously message exchanges are private. TBH I would love an opportunity to see a few 'successful' message exchanges play out because even though I get some responses to my messages, rarely do I get the opportunity to convert to a meet. I think I must err too much on the side of cautiously polite or maybe I'm just dull, idk.

There’s not a lot wrong with you profile. Your pictures are decent enough, but it might be worth putting some time in on exploring what you can achieve when you put some time in.

Your profile text is what lets you down though. It’s far too generic unfortunately. It really needs to stand out a bit. Think about the kind of woman you want to appeal too, and think about what they might like to read. Put some thought and time in and it will really play dividends.

My thoughts on the matter are that if you haven’t changed your age limits you are either lazy, or a little bit desperate. Forget about 99, how about 80? Also at the other end, if you’re happy to meet someone who’s 18, (and you’re in your 40s for instance) then that is going to say something else about you, which may be unappealing to women closer to your age.

Like I said, I am open to messages and chat from pretty much anyone. The only reason I had to filter out single males is because they are very very persistent when it comes to hoping you're 'fab straight' but I welcome chat and conversation from anyone with something funny or interesting to contribute, plus if you get involed with various forum 'games' then you need to drop filters or you simply can't play them.

Regardless, the whole thing is academic - since I started using the camera chatrooms, I just sit here with my webcam on, banter with everyone and people chat to me. So now my main reasons for not meeting are geographical distance and COVID considerations.
