What is it about me that puts you off

In real life I have no issues talking to people but why is it that when I send a picture and they see that I’m asian they get put off lol

Apart from outright racism which you can never overcome unfortunately there is a perception,usually from swingers clubs that Asian guys are pushy and disrespectful. Your profile is pretty same good so just persevere

Your ethnicity wouldn't bother me, if I like you I like you.

I find there are people I find attractive (or not) of all backgrounds.

However, I know from previous threads that there are people who blanket block certain groups because of perception. You will never change that by telling them you're different.

My advice is you be you and engage with those who don't have predjudice. You don't want to be with people who don't see you for who you are anyway.

I know there is racism around and that's stupid.

Having said that some Asian guys respond to that in a way that makes it worse, by reducing themselves to their race and seeing nothing past it.

I sometimes get guys messaging me with 'do you like Asian guys?'. As if that's the only reason why I might not like them. So if I'm not interested, I'm a racist. The reality is like most people I like some Asian (and white, black...) guys, but not all. And I like intelligent ones, so if they start out by boxing themselves in a racial corner they've already put me off.

I realise prejudice is a pain, as a gay man I get my fair share. But you need to be smart in dealing with it.

unfortunately racism is a bit everywhere

especially in the uk i've been called wog and dago cause im Italian but luckily many nice people i've met they love italians too

i personally got plenty of asian friends and other ethnicities and the not a surprising fact of how our cultures are similar, it clearly makes look this people absolutely wrong.

btw like they said you got 28 verifications just smile towards ignorant people and it's their miss not yours

I purposely created my profile with user name ASIANmanc as well as a very ethnic name of Sameer 6 years ago to filter out the racists, bigots and those that simply dismiss men based on stereotype.

My profile thus became a test. If read then those women and couples engage with me.

In your care take this as a pinch of salt. Many people here you wouldnt mix with in real life so don't get carried away.

Keep your head up and understand that this is simply a patient and numbers game.

Its not the easiest way to meet people when we're all subjugated in the news and thus fight social conditioning.

I've only ever faced racism once and that was on this site recently via a pm. When I saw her profile u realised I'm blessed.

Stay blessed and live a life focused on your goals and meet people in real life and keep this as a side hobby until you find people engage with you cos of you not cos of some some stereotypical notion lol

Well I had a few experiences were a lady contacted me we had a chat then all it’s all good asked me to meet before we even exchanged pictures and then when we send the picture she says you asian I said yes I am and I get no reply lol

You've confused preference with fetishism. look at it this way: Of a woman wants BBC, she's not a size queen. There's a racial requirement. And the BBC thing itself goes back to the interracial pornography of the civil rights era, where black performers having sex with white women was considered nearly beastiality. It's perpetuating a stereotype of black people being animals.

Racism does exist there is no denying that but it obvious that your are Asian by both your pictures and your profile text.

You have had quite a few meets, you have lots of veries. Infacr for a single guy you are doing brilliantly.

My guess is that you often make the short list... Couples like you... Consider you and then choose someone else.

Do a search on who is near by to you... There are probably twenty males to every female / couple. So with your track record you are not doing bad.

There are also lots of fake profiles on this site... It could be that they are fake and have taken it as far as they can.
