Chat Problems

more north lincs than mids!

Is anyone else having problems getting into chat? I click on the link and get .... a blank screen! Nothing there, not even connecting or anything

Looks fine here and rooms seems busy.

Have you tried delete temp internet files, reinstall adobe flash, reboot, try again.

If that fails try another browser e.g. firefox/chrome if that fails post here

done all that. We use firefox and even tried on IE with no success

ive cleaned and downloaded everything that needed doing and still nothing but a blank screen

ive had no probs with getting in had invisible room last nite for an hour mind you, but i think its aol cos they dont like fab and they send little gremlins to feck up the comps lol keep trying

Do you have firewall / anti-virus if so turn that off to test

Can you get other flash stuff e.g. iplayer on bbc?

can't get iplayer cos i'm in germany and it only broadcasts in the UK.

Everything else seems fine tho, I will turn off the firewall and anti virus and see what happens.

It's a problem with the site itself I believe, it would seem everyone has the same problem, there's a thread regarding so in swing chat.

it kept telling me Error Cant find server and i just got a blank screen then it worked then it didnt its okay now tho x

iam having the same problem as you click on chat room and its blank I have asked fab if they can do anything and they just directed me to the forums to ask the same question if anyone else is having problems

If I'm right the chat and web-cam service on here - like so many others - is "powered" by Macromedia Flash? If so then many browsers have begun to take a stand against the poor security issues that Flash creates by being an "executable file" on your computer, most have Flash now "switched off" by default.

Check your browser settings.

I never have any trouble with Opera.
