Reset filter bypass

Just a bit of a quick question.

Is there a way to reset the filter bypass of another profile?

E.g. We have single guy mail filter on to avoid constant harassment, we might have given a polite "no thank-you" or "not at the moment" message in the past but then they can still message when the applicable filter is on. Obviously we know that we can block but would be nice to reset the filter bypass or restrictions if it's possible?

Doe's blocking and unblock reset it?

Unfortunately it's one reason not to give a polite no thank you. I've had it bite me.

I don't understand.

If they message you and you respond then they are not filtered, your response will not impact that...

Some guy messages me. I politely declined.

Some months later I block all single guys for whatever reason.

The guy messages me again because the filter no longer applies to him.
