message filters not working

have reported this a few times but its still happening. I'm getting messages from guys outside my age range - seem to be the younger side of my stated age range - one just now and one yesterday being the most recent and I'm pretty sure i have never communicated with the before. Can you get they are working properly thanks x

I've had the same but when I asked them to check for me, it turns out it was over a year ago when the particular guy had messaged me. Anyone that has sent you a message outside your age range before the message filters came in can still send you a message. Best thing is to block them as they turn up

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've just applied the age range filter and it's not working. I can spot the ones I have sent a no thanks message to in the past but there seem to be new ones getting through as well.

Any help?

If you become a site supporter you can check on their profile and see that you've been in contact with them before. Hope this helps

Grantham.

Had this twice today, not been in contact in any way with either, both over my specified range, one managed to wink at me the other send me friend invite, thought that if out of age range people could not reset age for the rest of the day, or was I dreaming in a previous profile? lol

Not sure about that though I have been contacted by a guy who changed his dob to contact me.

As to the other issue, if you click on their profile, at the bottom of the menu on the left, it will either be blank or it will say "they winked you an hour ago" or "they messaged you an hour ago" As to the friends request, I didn't think that was possible for anyone outside the message filters to do that

Had similar happen again today, didn't realise that Message Filters had to be set to actively block "outside" age preferences, it wasn't, as I remember, last time I was site user & didn't see it offered this time when rejoined.

Thanks for reminder about filters

We can be dumb sometimes & not see what's in front of us, lol, cheers
