Someone has left me a verification who I haven’t spoken to for a long time and met for one drink about a year ago. I don’t want this verification, it looks as though we’ve met up recently which might impact on the connections I’m making currently. Is there anyway I can remove it?

You cannot delete it but you have the option to display it in public. Just don't display it.

I understand that but my verification summary now says I had a meet 11 hours ago.

No it does not...well I can't see it.. but you can also choose not to display that too.. go into your privacy settings xx

Would your connections get jealous? Surely you can just explain to them why you got a new veri?

But you're hiding it as well as hiding your veri summary so I see no problem.

I’ve just turned the summary off as a temporary solution. I’m talking to a couple of people that I’m very interested in but as I don’t have a lot of free time, it’s going to take a while to meet them. No I don’t think they’re jealous people but I think it might look like I’m being deceitful on the face of it. Yes we can just talk about it but since there’s so much messing about on this site I’d also understand people getting annoyed at it.

If the person had messaged me saying they needed a verification because they’d rejoined fab I would’ve done it but they haven’t spoken to me for at least six month if not longer and this just popped up last night. That is a little strange isn’t it?

There's not much you can do apart from asking admin to remove it. But if it's not a fake veri then they they won't.

Blocking the user would get rid of your veri but it would be included in your summary no matter what.
