saving messages

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I organise a lot of the socials on this site and would type up the venue details and send them out to people but sometimes people used to delete them by mistake so i would copy and paste the details to myself so i didnt have to type it all out again but now noticed you cant save messages you send to yourself why is this ?
