I have had an abusive message from a horrid man. I threatened to block but firstly was in the process of reporting him and after I had done this, I went to block but he had blocked me first.

How do I block him now? Please?

I don't want for him to be unblocking me just to either start sending me abuse again or looking at my profile in any way.

From the message he sent you it still has the option to block him from there

Yes tried that but he isn't appearing in my block list. I assume coz he got in first. But he can undo and see me when He wants...

If you reported him then admin sometimes put a block on both you seeing each other.. so he will be blocked

If you still have a message from the guy ( in message or sent page), click on it, then click on menu top right and then block from drop down list.

Hope that works for you.

Thanks but my point was, I wasn't able to block him first as I was reporting him. I think he blocked me.

So technically he can go to his Block list, unblock me, and access my profile without me knowing.

Hopefully tho, another reply above says admin automatically blocks us from each other...fingers crossed that is what happened!

Don't think it's understood what I am meaning... I haven't blocked him. I tried but he did it first. He does not appear in my blocked list.

Not to worry, thanks anyway. I'll keep checking for a while if he undoes his block.

If you clicked on the link to block him yourself like you said you did, then he will be blocked from your end
