Not in f’kin London!

I posted a private face pic this week and have just noticed that it was approved as a public one, déspite me logging it as private. How has this been allowed??? I have screenshot proof. I’m so annoyed as for a few days, it’s been shown as public without me knowing.

This could’ve jeopardised my career!!!!!

I want an explanation and an apology!!!

The way you upload can't be changed by anyone, so ie private or public would remain so. However it doesn't hurt to let Admin check that everything is working as it should so if you upload your screenshot where it says you are uploading the pic to private and then get in touch with Admin from the CONTACT button

I’d suggest keeping all face pics off fab ... I do, for similar anonymity reasons. If it’s not there in the first place, it can’t be hacked, found or posted in error!

Part pics are a risk too, unfortunately, although free or cheap versions of the software that match face features aren't that good, so, (for now) you can mostly rest easy on that one.

I’d suggest keeping all face pics off fab ... I do, for similar anonymity reasons. If it’s not there in the first place, it can’t be hacked, found or posted in error!

Sound advice. Just annoyed. Been on here over six years and it’s never happened....

Just surprised just how many folk splatter their faces all over the site. I guess swinging is becoming more acceptable....or fab is becoming more of a multi faceted meeting app within society now.

Another option, which is more scary (sorry!).

Has someone "hacked" you, and is changing things via your account?

Does someone know your login, or maybe saw you logging in and decided to play silly buggers?

Again! That was put up in error by admin and not myself.

It wasn't, only the profile holder can decide what to put on the avatar. If you still insist your pics are being moved to public , then I would change your login details just in case, as it isn't Admin doing it

If you don't want your face on show it might be wise to go through your public pics too
