Pretty sure this came into effect the last couple of days.

Had to use a vpn to get on here today and other sites no longer work without vpn either that worked just fine before.

Just incase anyone struggles getting on

No the porn block has been delayed for 6+ due to all the problems with it currently. Not surprising either.

It was delayed by at least 6 months a few weeks ago as we hadn’t given the EU enough notice & it effects the traffic website worldwide would receive from U.K. visitors

there are some benefits of remaining in the EU they don’t want us to lose our porn lol

Hmm strange that a lot of sites have been blocked by O2 then unless you use a vpn....18+ content has been unlocked since I got the phone and I can access other stuff just fine.

People are correct the block has been pushed back again as people cannot fully agree how you verify age . At the moment there are 2 ways proposed - credit card verification or going to an approved shop with id and receiving an age verification code !!

I had my adult block unblocked 5 times from EE over a period of 5 months, for some reason they kept putting it back on...I would check with your provider to see if the block has been put back on

My iPhone is on O2 not had any problem getting on to any sites

Definitely an adult block on O2 if it was a country wide porn block you would be blocked on wifi too. There is a very good chance the uk porn block will never come in.

Vodafone keep intermittently putting an 18 block on my phone (Mrs) but leave the husbands alone even though we are on the same contract

It almost certainly was a block. I am on three and a couple of weeks back they kept switching my adult block on and off constantly. Never had a problem before or since. Glad you sorted your problem.

I notice occasionally, whilst accessing public wi-fi, that I cannot access 18+ sites. I think their routers are set for such blocks.

Both are phones are O2 we have got no adult blocks on either of ours

I'm with 3 mobile. I keep getting service unavailable etc. Keeps sending me to my 3 account to disable adult block,even though it's already disabled. VPN is working to prevent it for now
