Is it ok to promote own web on fabs?

As per subject is it ok to promote personal websites and so on on fabs? More and more you see people promoting own websites, premium Snapchat, insta somewhat taking away from the experience not to mention that some even go to length to post screenshots from fabs discussion on their own blogs.
