I think when you go to their profile and click report you get an option to report them for no showing.

Yes, you can report - we reported our no show we had this eve. Don't know what happens after that though, just hope they don't get the chance to muck the next couple about, Grrrrrr!

I really don't get it.

We are all meant to be adults and if someone doesn't show up - deal with it. If you feel like you've been wronged, don't agree to meet them again and try someone else.

Why does so many people expect 'Admin' to hold their hands and mollycoddle them ?

Grow some balls and deal with it yourselves for heavens sake

i wasnt expecting Admin to mollycoddle me! But when i spent a long time getting ready and rearranging my work schedule, to be then let down, not called, texted or messaged. Then to find i was blocked!

I would just hate it happening to someone else, thats why i was asking.

It doesnt bother me, theres plenty more fish in the sea.

No-one expects admin to sort their lives out and 'guarantee' meets will take place - but from a simple coutesy point of view it's mind numbingly frustrating to be stood up without a simple 'sorry' message - and those guilty should expect to be reported!

Still no idea what happens during the process - hopefully it's taken seriously and impartially to avoid abuse (and i'm sure admin can track and view messages if needed) - but it is there after all. So if admin weren't interested - why have the facility?

Admin do read and deal with all reports. If we take a view from the reports that the person is not conductive to the community on here, they will be stopped from participating in the site. We look for verifying the accuracy of reports and we look at the pattern of reports.

Poor thing that you been let down by a time waster, get over it and carry on. being let down is part of being on the site, he might have had second thoughts about meeting you and done a runner, move on

Well quite frankly it shouldnt be part of being on the site, and if people accept it as normal, then it will become normal wont it! I cant see why anyone should accept what this lady has described as i myself have experienced it too, its no fun arranging babysitters etc to be let down without a word and then blocked. Good for Admin for taking it seriously!

But the fact remains that it is part of this and every other swinging site on the planet and it will always exist no matter what precautions are put in place.

In a scenario where anonymous people meet anonymous people there will always be a minority of who wilfully take the piss, there will also be those who change their mind for a plethora of different reasons.

Some will message you and give you a reason, some won't and will go on to ignore you.

Like it or not, frustrating as it may be, it is part and will always be part of the lifestyle to which we subscribe and no amount of intervention by Admin or anybody else will stop it happening.

Have to agree with MissDeMena on this - it shouldn't be part of the norm - and the fact admin do take it seriously should at least root out and remove serial offenders.

Yes it's our own responsibility to take all necessary precautions, both in terms of personal safety but also to avoid unwanted expense and a waste of sometimes valuable time - but if people get away with deliberately fooling and duping others too often for their own sad little kicks, then it will just encourage them to continue.

Yes, move on and don't dwell on the 'why's' or take it personally - these things will happen. But before you move on and hope for 'better luck next time' just take a couple of minutes to push the report button.

This is a great site, well run by admin and the best I've personally used (and I've tried a few!) - but as with all such sites - it's only as good as the people that use it as a 'community' - so if we all took a little responsibility for what occurs on here and used the facilities available in such scenarios - who knows - even a small improvement may prevent similar things happening to others - including you!!

applecider, I can not see why this man not turning up would bother you so much. Looking at your profile, you have plenty of meets with different men any ways with meet events every day. Like it says on your profile your 45, not 21.

so being 45 and not 21, makes u able to cope with being disrespected better? what a strange comment.

I couldnt care less, it bothered me for about 5 minutes. i was just asking if anyone knew what Admin did about it, and whether it was worth reporting the next person that doesnt turn up.

Commenting on how often I meet is of no relevance whatsoever.

"Hi, does anyone know what admin do about no-shows? Do they get a warning or are there too many for them to deal with? Thanku"

well there is something you can do about it... without meaning to sound harsh... pick better!!!

if its a pattern... how can you change it? talk to them more? do more due diligence? if it doesn't feel right don't go rushing into it headlong... ect ect...

see it is easy for people to say "what are admin going to do!" but admin were not the one to pick that meet... so in part, and this ain't going to be popular, some of the blame has to go to the person staring you in the mirror...

Fabio - right as always on the due diligence - but all the care in the world can still be scuppered by a devious mind.

So if you've done your homework, spoke on the phone, planned carefully and suffered a loss of time and expense - the perpetrator should be left to move on to their next victim?

I don't really see what your age has aything to do with it either or how many meets you've had before. I also don't think it's a reflection of your choices or tastes - it's rather a reflection of the person who didn't show up.

I'm not sure if Admin will tell you what they do with reported profiles but I guess the forum/site help is the place to ask the question and maybe they'll tell you. Even if nothing is done, at least you've reported them and you did your part.

I guess they do 'something' as otherwise I don't see why they added the option to report them for no shows!!

It happened to me once too, on another site. It's such a waste of time and annoying. But I think you've wasted too much time on this guy now and just want to move on!

Well said, i wonder if the people who moan about you moving on and dont let it bother you and you age (for some strange reason)has had it done to them.. ie spending alot of time re arranging YOUR life.. i will look forward for them putting some thing up in the forums for when they get a NO show
