Not really. Other than the Spain forum there is nothing else on here.

We've been asking for a chat room for years to no avail. Yet the Canada and New Zealand ones still sit there virtually unused. Even a more general one for Europe would be a start.

Searches will not show anything because Spanish post codes are not accepted.

Some of us hijacked the TR24 postcode (Scilly Isles) so you will probably find more Spain members in there than anywhere else.

When I was in Spain it worked fine,got a few offers from expats,I was on holiday with someone else I might have bought a bikini and joined them.

So far this year we've been within 5 miles of all four Canary islands, the Algarve, Jamaica, Marrakesh, and even Bermuda FFS. When is put us in Jamaica we were actually in Singapore.

In reality we've not been within 500 miles of any of them this year.

Who's near isn't fit for purpose.

Oh dear that is pants.ours worked fine when we were in Spain the start of the year,we go out Sunday so we'll find out ourselves .

But saying that it is mad because we're in Weston and apparently Wales is 14 miles away lol.its about 30 mile to the bridge,so onless we have a boat plain or swim it it's no way 14 miles

Always worked well for me over the years i lived there and got to meet lots of people from different parts that were on holiday that i would not have met in the uk

Has always worked for us in PDI gran canaria.

We are currently in Lanzarote and it seems to be working fine.

I think if you actually use the App then it does seem to work.

However we don't use a mobile phone at all for FAB. I'm thinking it maybe uses key words from our profile (Spain for example) and puts us within 5km of anyone who is in Spain or the islands.

That would explain all the messages we get from the Canaries but not the more obscure ones from the likes of the Algarve, Marrakech and Jamaica.

There are more Fabbers living in Spain than Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA put together.

I agree! I must have asked fab 3 or 4 times now to add Spain properly but they don’t do anything about it so we’ve started Almeriasocial dot com for English swingers in Spain!

I live in Spain. If you use a mobile phone it works perfectly on near me search. I only joined recently and my verifications are both by Spain resident ex Pat's. Proof of the pudding I think

If you're not using a GPS enabled device, then I'm sure your browser gets your location information from your ISP (or the location of their equipment). I've just tested this by logging in over a VPN and the locations given by Who's near when you switch it on "correctly" appeared in Canada and Japan.
