As unfortunate as it sounds, they just want to take the quickest action and check you out so they can quickly decide if they like you or not. Same thing has happened to me in the past couple of days. Got 2 winks, sent two messages describing myself, got 2 friend requests and then they buggered off! Must be my amazing personality!

Just have to take the rough with the smooth. it would be nice if people could leave a reply but some people just can't be bothered with it.
