Is the verified photo feature fool proof?

Has anyone ever had a person with a verified photo not turn out to be who they say they are? Especially a single woman. Is there any other steps I can take to make sure they are who they say they are before meeting?

You don't have to have the photo you used for verification on show. You can upload and send to people any other photos that you like, all the Verified photo shows is that you sent a picture to the fab admin that is most likely to be you. Use your spider senses, this is Cyberspace nothing is real until proven.

If you invite them to go on Kik ( other platforms are available) you don't have to give out any phone numbers and you can have a face to face chat on cam with them. This is the step where often you find out that they are completely different to how you expect.

Of course it's not foolproof.

I could (I won't) hand over my details to a man tomorrow and he'd have a photo and meet verified single female profile. Or a bloke could ask a woman to pose with a bit of paper. Or more besides.

Can you be photo verified without showing the flag symbol on your profile? I had a member swear she is but doesnt have the symbol.
