12.06 in the afternoon , not a mod in sight , people looking for them all over the place , the directing in the rooms (non directing ones) is chronic , i have blocked about a hundred n fifty people since yesterday , when are we gonna get some day time mods so this problem isnt recurring constantly. Puts people off chat and eventually the site. Shame really.

loads mods in an half of them dont read mail llf , or takes them some time to found a mod in wales who poor soil had been up all nite an then had to come iin to scotland room sort it out , bloody redic by the way ,

is this why we pay supporters fees to take all this crap in the rooms

i have also noticed a few mods who aint been online on months ffs take their * away an give them to some folk who are in chatrooms most times of the day or plz admin get some bloody more on line

Nice 1 admin.. i do agree we might need a couple of new mods during the day as new chat is getting more and more members on(A lot dont take time to read the rules i may add) mods do have a life out side fab.. IE kids,jobs stuff like that and carnt be on all the time so maybe a few new mods who are well known for being on during the day might help

Well I for one appreciate the mods time and efforts in the chatrooms , and will be ecstatically happy to see more mods in the scotland room as the directing has been well over the top today , and just before i am told to block them , I am doing and will continue to do so but it doesnt stop the problem , so roll on the new mods lets hope they make a difference.

Now stop telling porkies, you can be in 30 rooms at once and mods don't need sleep or go to work either or enjoy any time away from the site.

Me 3, which might be the reason that other than the ty for offering mail they dont get back to you. If hundreds of ppl offer then it would take ages to send thanks but no thanks mail.

Take you mean ...if the face fits ... some of us have been offering services to be room mods for ages ... keep getting auto generated email from admin ...yes your names on list, also have the backing of current room mods.

Nop didnt mean that atall Grids....i am sure there are reasons why admin havnt selected you.....but thats not up for public debate....and not the point in the thread....i know loads of people who have mailed and asked to be mods.....its not really a public moaning issue....

As for mods i think we need at least 8 new mods.....

i have asked n i got a reply within the week saying they had enuf mods at pres etc, it wasnt auto generated it was a decent enuf reply to my messager to them.

lets just hope the new mods kno how to find the old chat rooms as well as the new ones

Tbh Mizz, if you were a mod and typed in tht txt spk as you've done so far in this thread, I along with most other chat users would most probably have tremendous difficulty in understanding anything you said in the room.

So on that basis alone if the decision had anything to do with me (which it hasnt btw), I'd not choose you for the position of mod.

well I went into chat the other day, my first time in a long time and walked into an exchange, you seemed to have a problem with someone getting their mod role. You mentioned writing to admin.

Suggest that if the best route if you have a problem with it, rather than sniping about people in the forum.

Seems like admin cant win , new mods were called for and new mods have been given and now folks arent happy about the choice of mod , omg , you certainly cant please all of the people all of the time .

we could do with you back in the welsh room didnt have any of the problems we got now when you was mod,there were 2 mods in there other day and the directing was unbelivable and nothing done about it

To be fair to any chat mod.... A users definition of directing is often vastley different to Admins definition. Asking people to _iew cams, asking people to put cams on, been coarse, vulgar, telling them there gonna wank for them, telling them what they want to do to them.... Non of this is directing. Only asking to see stuff on cam, cam to move, asking the cammer to do stuff, show stuff is directing (as well as hinting/coaxing).

99% of the time, directors or those tugging on cam and been vulgar don't play any usefull role in the chat/flow of the room, they are only there to get their jollies so is it any great loss to anyone if everyone blocked them?

If mods do miss genuine issues then just remember they are only human, here as volunteers and are using the site like anyone else (to get meets). Its like fishing... Mods can't get catch all the fish in one go, but the more they come to the surface (and direct) the more chance of been caught. In the meantime, block them.

I remember modding the Welsh chatroom many moons ago and because my modding didn't meet with the approval of the Welsh room inhabitants and because I wasn't their 'usual mod' and because I was English, I was told that I had no right to be in there - a comment which was followed by calls to 'burn the English houses' !

I say the Welsh room has gotton everything it deserves and I sincerely hope that it gets more of it

Paying a fiver gives you the same non reply from "contact us" dont worry see it as a fiver saved

I was a site mod and then owner on a site 1/4 of the size of fab and couldnt respond to the emails I got for when I needed Mods.

I think the current Mods do a fine job especially as they do it for nothing and use their own time up modding.

If you dont like other users upsetting you or directing in a non directing room, block and move on, or if they're offensive report.

As for what the op said about the welsh room, I hope you reported them for being racist and hope they got a well deserved ban!
