Unread message symbol

My home screen has permanently displayed 1 unread message but there all read in the inbox and when a new one comes it still remains after I read the new one, is it a glitch in the matrix? My head pickled with it, is someone hiding lol

Try reverting back to the old version of the inbox - there's a link/option to do that at the top of the inbox page.

Sometimes messages seem to get stuck in there - and can only be seen/deleted there - and not in the new version of the inbox.

Try deleting some of the others and the unread one will come up eventually.

hiding from cock pics.

I had this problem for ages eventually it just went away by itself but it took weeks.

I tried all of the above suggestions, in the end it just went by itself

I have found if two messages have come in one after the other in the message string and I only open one of them to read the string it doesn't clear the one I didn't open if that makes any sense?

When you have new mail, it come 1 unread message but there none new ones in the inbox

Are there two messages from the same person (which have come in almost together) and you've only read the newer one? Try having a look through your threads.

I tried this going back to old style inbox then to new, signing in desktop than app, still same

Thinking only way is to wipe my inbox clean might do it
