FabSwingers.com forum: Unable to report a profile because they have blocked me!

I’ve got an issue where I can’t report a user because they have blocked me from their profile. They know they can do this so they don’t get reported!

Is there any other I can still report this user profile?

What they have done is pretty serious and to be honest quite scary but this site doesn’t appear to assist victims like myself.

I don't know what you are using to access Fab (phone, laptop etc) but I'm pretty sure you can still report a profile even if you are blocked, you can on the desktop version anyway.

You can still report a blocked user or one who has blocked you

You will see the page saying can't veiw this profile and in right top corner is a box , click on it and report user will drop down

Go to users page , it will say can't view , at the top right on mobile phone version there is a menu key , click it and report that way

How do you report if they have blocked and not coming up on searches. Definitely still on site.

They don't come up in searches if they have blocked you.

counter block and they will appear on your block list , click then select menu , report function will be visible

That's assuming you know their username ?

I don't think they know username ,look at messages you sent before block maybe ,if you don't know user you're buggered

That's assuming you know their username ?I don't think they know username ,look at messages you sent before block maybe ,if you don't know user you're buggered"
also if you know someone they have verified , look them up , find their verif and click on username , blocked message will show , select drop down menu , report and counter block

The only reason I know about the issue is through friends who say this profile has contacted them and is spreading lies about me. Can’t really go into anymore details than that.

I have read the profile and do not recognise the female picture . I do have my suspicions on who it is but don’t have any evidence to back it up. Hence why I really need to speak to Admin.

Am I misreading this or is the serious issue that they're just gossiping and spreading lies about you ?

I assumed it was assault or something had put you in physical danger, I can't see admin getting involved or 50% of fab members would be on the naughty step

You can type profile names directly into the block list. That works too.

The user has blocked them so they will not show up in their search. On laptop site, type their username into the box on your block list and they'll be blocked

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
