Over the last couple of days we've noticed some people are being added to our friends list but we haven't sent requests out.

Any ideas?

We’ve had this! Suddenly says “so & so accepted your friend request” when we haven’t sent one?! Glad it’s not just us....x

I have sent friends requests by accident before now when adding people to our hotlist...could it have been that?

Hiding in the shadows

I really should proof read befure pressing send....

Spotted a status update from a profile name I didn't recognise the other day.

Thought maybe someone had changed their name, but when I looked, I didn't recognise the person.

It didn't show at the top that we'd messaged each other either.

I only add people to my friends list who I know, have met or chatted to at length.

The only exception being a couple of club & events profiles.

Checked my friends list..

Spent nearly an hour looking at unknown profiles, adding a private note & deleting them!

Amusingly 6 sent me a friend request within an hour, but no message?

Very weird

Were you blocking them?

I'm sure the site used to auto-send you a FR if you blocked some one on your friends list.

Happened to us a couple of weeks ago.

Raised a discussion, admin said they’d look into it.

Seems they haven’t looked very hard..,
