FabSwingers.com forum: Blocked by fab from send messages!

I keep getting a notification pop up saying “you have been blocked for adding a website link in your message.....I haven’t added a single link or mentioned any other websites been blocked by Fab TWICE in a matter of hours! Ridiculous! Anybody else having this issue??

How do you speak to admin because I keep getting blocked from sending messages for absolutly no reason!! There is literally nothing in my message I’m trying to send that is against any rules on fab! Has to be a glitch and it is really taking the piss now

Yeah had that but that’s the point there’s absolutely sod all “spam” or “unrelated content” literally nothing, have contacted admin now anyways so thank you

That’s the thing no idea what the banned word was I went back to look at the message again and there was nothing abnormal in it, I copied the message to send to Admin anyways to see what they say x

Something similar happens with posting to the forum.

The only problem is that the site looks for a certain group of letters and so throws up errors on occasion.

I've found a couple of occasions when trying to post a comment on the forum that fab won't let me add my comment because it contains a banned word - except it doesn't.

Obviously, as fab won't allow it, I can't quote the example, but in order to explain it...

It's akin to the word scunthorpe being blocked because the system is looking for a certain 4 letter word beginning with 'c'

I got banned on here for 5 days just after xmas because i sent someone a msg but the words were joined together by accident . I never put a space in between words then i realised went back to change it .

Then got a msg from admin sayin i was gettin banned because it looked like it was some sort or porn web page

Those type of bans are not for an odd word in mail like the OP is talking about. They are for something totally different that warrants a five day block from the site altogether.

Either way, the mail block for sending something in mail that isn't allowed is for two hours, it will tell you this on the message that pops up when you get the block.
