This has happened more than once and there is no way to rescind it. We have a very sensitive keyboard on the laptop, occasionally when scrolling with the finger pad it can activate the various categories. More than once we have sent unintentional friends invites to peoplw whose profile we are browsing.

Once sent, there is no way to remove a friends invite (that we have ever found) you have to wait for them to accept and then delete it, sending a message of apology at the same time.

Can this be rectified in the next upgrade please?

Can you not change the settings so you dont use the touchpad for "clicking"?

Thats what I did on my lappy for the same reasons...

In the Windows System Tray (where the clock lives) do you have an icon that looks like a (very small) touch pad?

If Yes, click on it and clear the tick beside "Tap to Click".

If No, can you turn the icon on? Try Control Panel, Mouse, Device Settings ...
