What is the point off having message filters and having them set if people who you don't want messaging you are still allowed to view your profile

Is it Guys looking that bother you..again, if so, no harm done...look at your profile as a shop window..folk will look but find nothing of any intrest to them and move on to the next window....should the shops close al their shutters so nobody can see whats on offer..of course not

This only works with single guys. I wish they'd extend it to couples, females and TV/CD. It would be much fairer, rather than just single guys. And yes, I know filters can be applied.
