Trouble with upgrade phone number

Just tried to upgrade my account via the phone number that is provided but it states that the number is not recognised and cuts off the call. Is there an issue here or is it because I used a phone box?

Have you got an age block on your phone? If you don't know or don't think you have sometimes a call to them will let you know

It was a public call box so it is probably just the age block thing. I just expected it to say a different message if it was that. I just said the number didn't exist

Ah sorry totally read your post wrong

I don't think there are any problems with the call option at the moment, have you tried a text instead?

Calling from anything other than a BT landline will usually not work and if it does it will cost more, your best bet is to use another method.

We try to highlight this on the upgrade page
