New Webcam not working

Hi i have just bought a Logitech HD 270 webcam, but i cannot get it to work in the chatrooms (or skype either). I have specified the webcam as the one being used as camera and microphone in the webcam box. I have tried Chrome and IE (Edge is no good).

I have tried advice given on Amazon by another buyer and updated the driver, but it is still not working.

Any advice?
