give friend a buzz

How about being able to buzz a friend to let them know you are on line. Must be a friend though.

Yes when you come on line you can see if your friends are on line, however they dont necessarily know that you are on line and thought of instead of mailing you could just give them a buzz as you do in chat.

Thnik it would need to be limited to the number of times you could buzz someone. ie twice.

i get enough messages when i 1st log on im guessing people who have hot listed me i dont need to be pinged or buzzed
