Can anyone explain what it is we are doing wrong with location.

When using the "who's near" function it keeps saying we are in London and only get updates about Londoners when we are in the Midlands????

This is driving us mad..

Check that your actual location on your mobile device is correctly set for your area - it could need re-setting.

When you turn on Who's near, is the lat/long location shown on the page correct? For Meriden, it should be something like 52.44, -1.66.

So 51 would tally with the London location. Just need to find out why your phone is giving Fab the wrong location!

Does your mapping app show the correct location?

Have you cleared the location access on your phone.

Are you using WiFi or mobile data?

I get a similar problem if I visit websites on my laptop that want to use my location, and it's all down to my broadband provider, that somehow defaults my location to London.
