Message Filters and Winks

I know that if I wink at someone I can bypass the message filters I have set. But was wondering whether people I’ve had no prior contact with can wink at me if they’re in a group I have added a message filter for?

Thanks for testing! I guess my plan to only respond to winks isn’t going to work then. That’s annoying.
