can anyone please please tell me why my mail completely disappears when i get blocked,i am a fully paid site supporter for one reason only to remove pics in any mail that i send,if i get blocked the other member keeps my pics and can do whatever they want with them this is an absolute disgrace this puts every site member at risk mostly single woman,can anyone give me a common sense logical reason as to why this happens i have contacted site but i am getting completely ignored

There is no more risk involved with the new protocol than with the old.

Once a mail is opened, and the picture viewed - the viewer has several ways in which to save a copy for their own purposes. None of these methods are preventable.

there is a very serious risk some poor single mother or anyone for that fact getting black mailed, pictures posted through neighbours doors or anything for that matter(THAT BENEFIT SHOULD NEVER EVER BE TAKEN AWAY FROM A SITE SUPPORTER THATS WHAT I PAID MY MONEY FOR ) the new protocol is a disgrace am sorry if i sound rude but this needs addressed A.S.A.P this benefits no one

try it,it disappears 100% i am amazed that no one else has picked up on this if your blocked you can no longer contact them anyway so why remove your mail it makes absolutely no sense what so ever do site supporters actually know this is happening!!!!,i am honestly shocked this is happening and yes i completely agree your putting pics up at your own risk i totally get that but why is the site heightening the risks

I was blocked and apparently reported by a guy for not replying (lol) but i could still see the abusive mail he sent me

if you think that then thats fine but its complete nonsense your mail and your pics disappear 100% guaranteed,how do i know its happening click on the history on your laptop then click on the site member you mailed you will then go to their profile it tells you your blocked

I am totally confused here, if your mail from them does disappear, why is that an issue? If you have used the feature to remove your pic from any message you sent them. And if your mail from them disappeared surely your mail to them disappeared too? So how could they black mail you? I am totally lost..

Easy , keep your pics private until you are sure about the person you are going to send them.to , it's not rocket science

How do you know they still have your picture and message if they've blocked you.

If you're concerned that someone has a picture attached to a message delete it from your gallery and it will disappear their end.

i have tried and tested every scenario before posting this on the forum i have already blocked a profile and i keep the pics and mail its absolutely insane,i have paid to be a site member on the understanding that i can remove my pics from any mail i send and i cant and what i dont understand is why,this wasnt always the case this is a new set up by the site i picked up on this about 6 weeks ago but admin are completely ignoring it

I think maybe you havnt explained it clearly.

I think i understood what you mean by when you said you bloked someone after getting mail from them and you can still see their pics which obviously means others can do that i guess the answer is dont send pics that you cang make public. But did you not know you can copy pics to your device as you get them because they only disappear from your account after you close them anyway

So you have blocked someone but still have their pictures and messages, is that right? If so it might simply be that they haven't removed their picture.

Blocking someone does not remove their message or pictures.

i cant make this any clearer mate my profile is being blocked before my mail is even opened and my mail in my sent box disappears (quite clearly people that know me) I HAVE PAID TO BE A SITE MEMBER TO REMOVE PICS THIS SITE IS TAKING THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT BUT NOT ALLOWING ME TO REMOVE PICS as i said in an earlier post i get putting pics up is a risk but why the hell is this site heightening the risk i feel as if i am talking in a foreign language as nobody seems to understand for whatever crazy reason its like paying for the football channel on sky sports for instance and they are refusing to give you it but still taking the money every month

You can't remove them if you are unblocked either once they are sent, unless you use the option when sending them

PS when you use the option to remove your pic after it has been sent, it isn't instant, it is after a good few hours

If you are worried about other people using your pics for any other reason than to check you out when you are chatting then it is probably best not to send any out at all as they can be saved almost straight away if someone wanted to

Why don't you right-click protect our photos to stop others stealing / saving them?

We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.

Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by any of the following methods:

Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.

OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.

OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.

We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be viewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.

We also now watermark all photos upon upload.

I AM ABOUT READY TO SCREAM I HAVE PAID MONEY TO REMOVE PICS WHICH IS PROMISED BY FAB WHEN PAYING TO BE A SITE MEMBER THEY HAVE TOOK MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND I AM NOT GETTING IT!!!!! THIS SITE IS PROMOTING AND SELLING SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE NOT GIVING IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND

When you click on the "Auto-remove photos from message after it's read (improved privacy)" button when sending your pic, it removes the pic after a few hours. It isn't instant

They are giving you what they promised.

But how do you know that your pics are not being removed from messages you have sent to a profile that subsequently blocks you?

I understand that you still have messages and pics from a profile that you are blocked from visiting, but the probability is that they didn't click the remove images button.

You are not paying for anything.

As a site supporter you are making a contribution that pays for the upkeep of the site. Any additional benefits that you get are a bonus, not a contract.

You are not paying for the ability to have your pics deleted.

You tick the box to remove photos and the site will remove them but not immediately.

Is it possible that on one occasion you forgot?

Messages will disappear if the person leaves the site not if you have been blocked.

Can you explain how you know your pictures are not being deleted? I can see you're becoming frustrated and I'm hoping to help.
