A friend of mine is going through the compulsory initial photo verification. Done in an hour they say .... that was 7 hours ago and she still cannot use the site!

I guess it has to be passed by a moderator, and the moderators here are all volunteers. There are no paid admin staff, and there might be hundreds of issues for the moderators to have to deal with, so have a little patience my friend, and as long as the photo complies with site rules, I'm sure all will be well
