Lost all chat messages to another member

I was chatting to a lady and exchanged approximately 15 messages today, both sent and received messages have vanished! Also can't find the ladies profile? Thanks

If you can't read them and find her profile, it's one of 2 things - either left the site or blocked you.

In my experience it usually shows any corresponding messages as "deleted" and if blocked, you can still find a profile by browsing though and trying to click into viewing that profile then a message appears as "you are blocked from viewing profile"

The chat was going very well, very confusing?

She will have left the site. If she had blocked you the messages would still be there, you just couldn't reply to her again

I am a long standing user on fab with a joint profile also, In my experience if someone deleted their profile it used to say something like "profile deleted" has this changed? Thanks

Yes, there was a recent update about this, if they leave the site their messages now disappear too.

As for the blocking part.

I recently blocked someone & all his messages disappeared, it maybe he left the site around the same time. I assumed they'd gone just from blocking him.
