Even if your friends and have messaged many times before. So remove them all, we've have had this occur many times over previous years and profiles. Because its a free site Admin don't provide personal site support especially via the forums. You'll have to contact them direct and wait for a reply (if any). " have contacted admin, the only reply was worthless, FAQs, we done that before we posted on here, plus contacted them, and no response, as regards free, we pay, happy to do so, but sadly it seems there system of doing things is badly floored, and customer service ?, site help. "Firstly - you have been told the most likely reasons for why the verification has not been received. These are the reasons listed in the FAQs you were referred to: A] Filters may be in place or B] Share dinternet connections Quoted from FAQs: Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, or you're on the same internet connection, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves. Secondly - The "Site Supporter" donations is not related in any way to 'customer service' and this is stated on the Site Supporter FAQs page. You are voluntarily, in effect, contributing to the continuance of the site by way of financial aid covering site overheads. Thirdly and lastly, you have posted this on a weekend which is a Bank Holiday weekend, in the UK where the Admin are based - therefore it is unrealistic to expect action so quickly - especially when the Site guidance tells you that it takes usually 48 hours to resolve most issues raised via the CONTACT facility. Please have some patience as Admin will do what they can to correct these - but they are human and have a life outside of Fab too. As it stands from the information you've given - it's most probably the shared internet connectio, however it was done - that is preventing the verification being processed. " Well thank you for your response, and thank you for reinforcing our views about people not reading things. Your obviously in the know, all of your bullet points we have covered, plus the first verification was done on Thursday, Not on a shared connection. Does everything come to a stop on here because of a bank holiday ? It’s not a donation we make, it’s to becomes site supporter, therefore a membership,and so doing benefit from the added extras the site offers. We still are waiting for this to be resolved. But with a different view about the way things are dealt with. Kind regards. | |||
