Is there any way to reset filters on accounts, obviously if I choose to block a sex those that have already messaged can still message....

Ah, you mean you would like a way to prevent previous contacts from 'getting round' your new filters, without having to resort to blocking them? I agree, that would be a very useful facility to have.
