My inbox is saying i have x amount of inbox’s but when I scroll down I can’t see anything x

You probably have the new style of grouped inbox. Try switching to the old style temporarily (click the option just under the menu at the top when you go into your inbox) and the messages will appear then.

You can switch back to the new style inbox by following the same process.
