The green tick means the person is verified and the speech bubble means they are in chat

It means they have been photo verified

The green tick means photo verified by admin its shows that the profile is what it says it is eg a couple ,single male or female .

The green tick means Verified by Others - The flag means Photo Verified by Admin

The easiest way to know what they mean is to hover your mouse over them and a wee box comes up telling you what they mean.

Because you don't have to display them or the person who gave them have left the site and the verification text goes with them but the Green Tick still stays

So really it is open to abuse.Someone could make another profile verify themselves and then delete the other profile.

Taken from the FAQ -

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, or you're on the same internet connection, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves.

oops my bad thats what I meant got me ticks and flags mixed up , off for more coffee wake me up
