Not being funny but your face is entirely visible to me so I guess if someone you know in real life also happens to see you then it’s probably a given that they know your real name. Your personal details aren’t available for anyone to see unless you show them.

You can set your profile to be hidden or not to the wider non-fab world - a good privacy option.

People can also reverse image search on your photos to see if they are found anywhere on the internet, so may identify you that way. It's useful not to use photos on here that you use anywhere else.

Report users making inappropriate comments to you to fab site admin.

Got to agree with all that have said to hide your face pic. It's not 100% guaranteed though, some eagle eyed feckers will recognise you from a pimple on your arse. Welcome to fab.

The OP should be aware of the problems of re-using usernames on different web sites.

I did a google search on your username from this site - i see you have a profile on a main stream dating site which has plenty of pictures, and personal information in the public domain.

Perhaps this person has recognized you from their - chances are this person already knows you.
