I dunno ive never used credit card when upgrading, ive just read there is a charge to the site if its under a certain amount thats why £5 is too low to use a credit card

The £5 site supporter option is for text payments. Debit and credit card payments are either £12.50, £20 or £30 depending on how many days you want.
