Message disappeared?

I sent a message to an old friend of mine on here theee weeks ago.

She hasn’t been on since I sent it,but today It has disappeared from my sent folder.Weird!

Anyone else had this,or know what’s hapoened to it?

Has it not just dropped off the bottom? Try deleting some and see if it reappears

Is her profile still on here?

If someone deletes their profile then messages sent to and from that acc. can disappear too.

Yea,she’s still here.

Tried deleting other messages,refreshing page,logging out/back in.Message has gone...

If a message remains unread for a certain period, 2 weeks I think it is, then it will be deleted automatically to save server space. There is a better explaination in the FAQ's. If I wasn't a total technophobe I'd post the link!
