Some prepaid cards allow international transactions, including online ones, where the bank does the currency conversion . If fab was charged in £, it would convert that price to $, though often there's a fee per transaction.

It's potentially good to check the card providers site for its features and unit charges, as well as attempting the purchase via fab. I can see that if you were charged in dollars that it might reduce the cost but when in the USA I've paid in £.

Thank you for the reply. It is greatly appreciated. I may look into a visa or MasterCard prepaid travel card.
