Push notification for messages

LONDON (SE)

My notifications for messages on ny phone have turned off, i didn't do this yet when trying to click button to activate it won't do anything so I'm not receiving notifications on incoming message.

I've rebooted phone and tried logging in & out of FAB to refresh but no joy, Advice please.
