Blocked from sending messages

I tried to send a message to someone with a link in it and then it told me that I was blocked from sending messages for a few hours. Can someone help me out with this? This is very inconvenient.

You've either been reported for being abusive or rude or sending stuff you shouldn't wait it out and be carefully what you send in the future

I have been neither abusive nor rude and have not sent anything I should not have. I sent two links to an image hosting site in the message and it blocked it.
