Other Software Accessing Cam And How To Check

My cam seems to have stopped showing as working and I am wondering if this is because I have other software accessing my cam. How can I stop other software doing this please ? (Fab recommends doing this but I am not certain how to do it).

You Dont Need to Know, right now

Try closing all programs and switching off your laptop. Restart, but don't start any other programs. Open browser, open Fab, and your cam should be available for Fab to display.
