Messages sent and received disappeared

Hi,

I was sending and receiving messages from an individual but then all of a sudden all messages sent and received disappeared.

It wasn't like it said user no longer here, just vanished, all of it. Has that happened to anyone before?

I've just had the same thing happen to me. I'm used to seeing "User no longer on site", which is fair enough. And I can see if the other person has deleted my message - again, fair enough. But I also would like to know what it means when the messages simply disappear without any trace.

It does happen occasionally and I think it is when admin have removed them, rather than them removing themselves.
