cam problems

we have flashed installed on our laptop and have always been able to cam until recently. now, in the top right corner where we used to be able to turn our cam on and off there is a message saying you can now watch cams without flash installed but no button to turn on our cam? we use chrome as our browser and have enabled flash to allow all sites to use it but no luck. weird. advice anyone???
