What's with the recent surge in fake profiles you know the ones that are all exactly the same "I'm a singLe (age) woman or couple etc how do these keep getting past all the moderators?!

It's not really a surge, it's an endless stream. Just report them and avoid them. I'm reporting at least one or two daily and mostly they get removed, occasionally for whatever reason they don't

It does, if they are indeed fake profiles.

The site fills in a standard line on new profiles if they don't fill it in though, so it could be they are real, they just havn't filled in their profile yet

As Ruggers said, if a new profile doesn't add any wording the site autofills it with the same basic sentence:

I am a 46 year old straight woman and I'm looking to meet men.

This is how mine would read, obviously the man/woman, straight/bi bits change depending on who and what they are looking for.
