I didn't mean delete them all!! Just delete the ones you didn't need.

If you haven't seen them for a while its worth a go. However admin have a habit of deleting old messages to free up server space so they may have just gone.

Another way is to use the desktop site within a message it allows you to go to the next unread even if it isn't showing on the inbox page.
