Email address in messages

We recently sent our email address in a message to a guy we wanted to get to know better, but he came back to us saying that the last part of the address was missing from the mail. Looking at it on our sent log it seems ok, but we were wondering if there is some sort of filter on private messages to stop emails being shared?

If you can see it in your sent box he can see it in his inbox

OK, thanks. It might just be that he didn't work out our address as the format it slightly unusual..

thought read in FAQ's or somewhere on here that on 1st email to someone email addy's are automatically deleted as could be spam??

I can vouch for that lol - happened to me many times but the second time is usually ok

Unsolicited web/emails are blanked, because that's a hallmark of spam

But if they could see it in their sentbox the recipient could see it in the inbox
